Natural and artificial lighting are a huge debate in the interior design world. Naturally lit homes are praised by homeowners because they lower their energy bills. When choosing windows to light a house, choose highly efficient glass that blocks solar heat to gain taking advantage of the daylight. Natural lightly is also healthier because artificial lighting can cause discomfort and glare to sleep deprivation and even cancer. Daylight affects the hormones in your system, much like an ecosystem, our bodies react to external stimuli. More specifically, daylight will inhibit the production of melatonin, which cycles our body. So, lighting is very important on where it is put and shown in every area of your home.
